ABOUT

Staci Henderson, M.S. CCC-SLP, is the owner and director at Speech Nest. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with over 20 years of experience working with children and their families. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma and her Master's degree from the University of Tulsa. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, the Texas Speech and Hearing Association, and a member of the International Association of Orofacial Myology.

Over the course of her career, she has worked with children in a variety of settings, including elementary schools, outpatient pediatric clinics, hospitals, and home healthcare. She is certified in the Hanen Program "It Takes Two to Talk," which focuses on caregiver education to develop speech and language skills. She has also been trained in Social Thinking (pragmatic language skills) and other language impairments. She is skilled at treating oral motor disorders and sensory-based feeding impairments. In addition, she has attended training in treating Childhood Apraxia of Speech and articulation delays/disorders. Staci has a passion for helping children achieve success in their communication and feeding skills and celebrates each success with them.

In her free time, Staci enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, and exploring new places.
